Inspiration Corner : 29 ,Single and with Child

29, Single and with Child

Hee waitse life ke skorokoro strong. Plans don’t go according to the way they have been scheduled and you end up making sacrifices that don’t benefit the one that you actually want to protect….
I  get that when you are young, vulnerable and ambitious you tend to make silly mistakes and I’m now aware that  only the clever learn from those mistakes…..I suppose I should also admit that I have made my fair share of mistakes and I do acknowledge that what seemed like a good idea then is not so beneficial now.

I would give up my boobs to correct all the wrongs I have done and if you have ever seen my boobs then you would know that I would be giving up thee most important part of me. Lol! On a serious note though I‘ve been blessed with a very handsome son and a together family mara I can’t help but wonder ukuthi is this what I have planned for myself mara hee? I’m not sure what people my age should be looking for, I mean what does being 29, single and with child really mean….does it mean that I have lived my life and I should rather concentrate on my son or does it mean that I have to pressa, pusha, phanda so that I’m not a bitter 39 year old lefetwa with a child in a decade or so. I mean I really rock my 29 don’t get me wrong but the confusion that I see in the world is making me naar also because I look left and right and everybody udlala ma-dice (getting married to sugar daddies) and I worry because I don’t want to end up there I’d rather be the lefetwa I am….wait a minute kanti ke lefetwa? I suppose when you my age and you not even in a relationship then olefetwa*sigh*

Mara I think 29 is the best age for one to be in because you’re bidding farewell to the most confusing yet fun era and saying hello to a rather comfortable and directive but also super demanding era. I have to say that being 29, single and with child is not as scary as it sounds, yes its challenging especially when everybody around you is getting married and  all they talk about are their husbands and it gets rather uncomfortable, either than that it’s just a state of mind shem… I make 29 look good, without me it would just be another number making women miserable cause I doubt men go through the same ish that we women go through…..I mean look at Bheki Cele, Morgan Tsvangirai, Mporesident wa Afrika borwa and the list is endless they’re not letting their ages get them down  they are living it up, so why do we as women let our ages screw us over…..hai phansi nge-depression phansi…….I’m 29, single and with child….He is  7 years old and  cuter than  his parents combined. He is intelligent than most so why worry heh……I’m 29, single and with child ,if you have a problem with that then  deal with it cause you can’t change it darling…..I’m here and I feel my 29, bofetwa and with child.

The Arch has spoken

I am not one to disrespect the elders neh, nor am I one to judge but can I just kwaaaaaaaaa at Arch Bishop wa rona?

Like, can he be in the news for saying something that does not make him sound like he forgot to take his sane-snacks? I was not ready; ok fine maybe I was because when , he is commenting in the news it is usually about something that has angered him and he does not mince his words; for him to call the government the "lickspittle bunch". This after the government's refusal; yet again; to grant the Dalai Lama a visa ,into RSA so he can attend the 14th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates which is to take park later this month.

Dalai & the Arch

Look, yes the Arch is mad because this is not the first time. And yes he is within his right to be angry, but I honestly do think the way he expresses his anger and his rants and fits of anger in the news about this is a bit extreme.

What do you think?
