News that caught my eyes this week

Read all about it
Hello everybhadi, another week has come and gone. I cannot believe we are so closer to dhizhemba and the festive season is in the air. this was confirmed this week when we all had to confirm our December annual leave. Like can we just be given enough time to take down last year's Christmas decorations first? Anyway, here is a bit of what caught my eyes in the news this week.

The Steenkamps are reported to have said they will give back the money that Oscar Pistorius has been giving them on a monthly basis. Since their deceased daughter was a bread winner they have had no source of income so he had been helping them out by giving them R6000.00 per month. It is reported that they say it is blood money and they want to repay him. This is one of those cases nje. I wanna ask questions about this statement but am also aware of the sensitivity of it so will just leave it here. I wonder if they felt pressure to be loyal to their daughter's memory.

A truck crashed into more than 30 cars on the N12 East not too far from Alberton on Wednesday. The driver claims that the vehicle brakes failed and he is now facing culpable homicide charges. I don't know how I feel about this because as a female driver I usually feel intimidated on the road by truck drivers. My first car was crashed into by a truck driver who felt he deserved to use the road more than I did, so this brakes story might be true, but he could also have been doing a Schumacher on the road. He was arrested on Wednesday and will appear in court next week Thursday.

There is fear that the Ebola virus might be getting way too close to RSA than we ever thought. According to reports, people are now fleeing from West Africa to South Africa in fear of getting the virus. But the danger is that where they are coming from is where the virus is so chances of an unknowing carrier getting to RSA and spreading the virus are high. Guys, this is scary. The way I keep side eyeing people who so much as cough around me...

In local news, we are in the process of changing our hope page name from trollsathome/trollsonline.com. We asked you to suggest names and also vote on your preferred names. No decision has been made yet as some of the suggested name were taken, some were not that apertising and participation was quite low. We will try get it done before the end of next week.

I am on study leave Friday and Monday so won't be able to troll with you. However, will be reading comments on my Sghedlemba phone. We agreed to trollpic our signature scents, I am a good spot so will post mine first.... don't judge

No More trollsonline.com?

Nobody likes trolling

Hello there ladies, Big5, Team Nembeza and Siboza,

There has been quite a few suggestions to change our current name from trollsonline.com to a more mature, corporate or even respectable name. I have seen it pop up more than once and when I went to sin at "you-know-who's house" I saw it mentioned more than once.

So, I actually agree. We do want to grow and attract more trolls and of course to one day start making money so we can stop eating bread, polony and lettuce for lunch. We also need to start eating olives and air too and to do this we will have to tweak a few things. I think we are over the initial newness of this now and it is time to run this like a well-oiled sports boat.
Vote. Popayis be gone!!!!

Therefore trolls, I rate we put forward a few names and then we can compile and vote for a better preferred name. Also, you can tell us what you dislike and if me and the other top trolls find it valid we will ask the tech team to fix it

What name/s do you think would be suitable?

Agony Troll: brother out of control

The Agony Troll
Here is the thing..my brother is only 25 years but he impregnated a girl whilst he was doing his matric but he finished matric passed with flying colors and he has always been a bright student.
He then went to uni and the gal stayed at her parents house with their son,my brother is very violent he used to beat the gal and even went to the gals house making noise and all, eventually the gals mother got tired and told my mum that if he  is not going to change she is not going to let him see his son and his gf.My brother never changed and the gf broke things off with him and they stopped bringing his son for him to see him.
Thats when all the problems started,he does not drink alcohol but he smokes weed a lot like a lot, we even suspecting that he is now doing drug,Guys my brother is the most intelligent person , he finished his degree and was amongst the top 5 students and was chosen amongst those 5 to do his Masters that he will be finishing end of November. But he is very violent when he smokes and he does not listen to anyone.
My parents are not together and he stays with my mother, he stresses her to the maxi,he fights with my other brother and just yesterday when i spoke to him he told me that he even want to hurt my other and he is not going to stop until he is in a wheelchair or he has plaster just because he told dad that he is smoking weed and he said he wants to inflict pain on my brother(is this normal for a sibling  to have such hatred towards his own sibling)surely not normal.
Im realy thinking that he is possed because the things he has been doing is not normal. All of this is because he is stressed about his gf and son.My mother is always sick, her blood pressure is always high and im scared that she will stroke as the Dr said her bp is always high which is not normal.
He has done a lot of things guys ,things that if i tell you your jaws will drop and i dont know what to do anymore.Im just scared that at the end he will end up in jail and for such a young man with a bright future like that it hurts me to bits and i love him with all my heart and seeing him going through all of that is killing me softly.
What would you guy guys do???

Troll Rant: It is in all families

Sometimes we laugh together cry together, fight and even hate each other. Coming from a family with a lot of cousins, I have realised that most time we do form groups. There are groups that are closer to my grandmother and others closer to me my grandfather. At most, we pretentiously tolerate each other but one thing is guaranteed, when there is a need (a family gathering) we will all be there.

Others will be in their corners talking about the rich relatives, others guarding the pots and others nursing their weaves, but we will all be there as it must happen. but there is one thing that I have noticed about my family, no outsider; according to my knowledge; has been able to come in between us successfully.

What do I mean? Trollsonline is structured in a way that most families are structured. There will be the horrible cousin, the sweet one, the emotional one and the common go to cousin or even relative. but there will also be the one who never goes to family gatherings but only show up when there is a disagreement and he will arrive in full force to push the fight but in the end family bond always wins over it all.

Today we had our first gremlin. it was sad because we are usually closer than this, but hey one blogger did try to pray the evil spirit away but ke it is what it is. This too shall pass. Maybe tomorrow the Big 5 (all 600 of us) will be in a different kind of mood.

'Must-have' Items in a Troll’s Wardrobe

There are a lot of annoying things about being a woman, like periods, childbirth and not being able to play basketball in a way that keeps spectators awake. But near the top of the list has got to be buying clothes.

I know one way to fix it is just to be ballsy and wear men's clothes, and that's a bold choice. But you take a social hit for wearing "masculine" clothes, and most women don't want to take that hit. Every woman is different, but I do believe there's a standard set of a few pieces that make it easy for an active, practical woman to look effortlessly chic and modern.

Another element is to invest in pieces that will last regardless of your age or trends.

Here is the list!!

1. Jeans

A great pair of jeans is indispensable. Don’t invest in jeans that have cuts, rips, or weird dyes unless you already own at least a few classic pairs.

2. The Trench Coat

The trench coat is the perfect winter/spring transitional piece and lends a beautifully sophisticated look to any outfit.

3. A little black dress - LBD

You can dress it down for the daytime, and then throw on a pair of statement earrings for an evening out.

4. A structured, classic bag for every day

A bag that works in any situation whether it's a trolling session, parent teacher meetings, happy hour drinks, or dinner with friends. Select a bag large enough to carry your daily essentials, but with a structured shape so you can carry your things in style. I know some ladies don’t like changing their handbags so choose a colour that goes with everything....

5. A small bag or evening clutch

For parties and evenings out. In crowded bars or restaurants, it can be inconvenient to carry a large bag. Some hate the fussiness of holding a clutch so you can always go for evening bags with straps.

6. A pair of black pumps

These shoes will work with every single item in your closet, with the exception of possibly your gym clothes although I’ve seen a colleague wearing her tracksuit ebhalwe fitness with heels. The perfect, classic shoe for any occasion where formal footwear is needed: business meetings, parties.

7. A black blazer

The blazer is easily one of the most useful pieces in a woman's wardrobe. There are infinite ways it can be worn. Wear it over a blouse and pants or a pencil skirt to a business meeting. Wear it over a cocktail dress to an evening function. The black blazer is a wonderful staple. Invest in one with great, lean tailored fit and a classic look (no studs, sequins or flashy detail) so that it can transition throughout the seasons.

What other items do you believe should be in our wardrobes?

Weekend Troll Summer(ry)

Happy Monday everybody, hope y’all had a fabulous weekend. I had quite a boring weekend actually. I was supposed to be studying for an exam and as it goes, I did everything else but. Check out my weekend trollings in one paragraph.

I became a discovery scientist and an alcohol thief, kiiiiii. Science part: I have finally discovered the best way to fix my dry weave ends by using olive oil; it had been sitting in the cupboard for a while and honestly I did not know how to incorporate it into my dishes, the pressure of clean food as per cool trollsL. Well now I actually know a lot about how to use it as a cosmetic instead.
Alcohol thief: I found a bottle of Hennesy in my car boot and heyyyy finders keepers. Coincidentally Ben was also looking for a bottle with a similar description but I am no snitch so I am saying nothing, good luck to him shem! Just need to know how to mix it……..
