Easter Holidays fun

Don't know what to do this Easter weekend, I have put together a few things that might be of interest to you.

If you are in Cape Town:

The Twelve Apostles Hotel is hosting Easter Sunday Lunch and High Tea. Hosted at the elegant Azure Restaurant, the special lunch, which starts at 12:30pm, features a decadent buffet spread with all the trimmings. What’s more, while parents relax after the feast, the little ones will be kept entertained with an exciting Easter egg hunt and the search for chocolate-y treats. Aside from the lunch, over the holiday weekend (from Friday, 3 to Sunday, 5 April 2015), the hotel will be offering a special high tea that includes an assortment of Easter-inspired pastries and snacks matched with a fine selection of fragrant brews – this will be available both in The Leopard Bar and The Café Grill between 10am and 4pm. COST: The Sunday lunch costs R R415p/p for adults and R215p/p for kids under 12 years of age. Booking for this is essential, and reservations can be made by contactingrestaurants@12apostles.co.za. The special Easter-themed high tea is priced at R195p/p.

The V&A Waterfront together with the Easter bunny will be entertaining kids with Face paintings, photo takings, meet and greets and a lot of other activities. There is no charge for this event so even if you are on a no budget, you can still take the little ones to have fun.

If you will be in Jozi:

The Rand Easter Show starts on the 3rd and carries on until the 12th April. This event has grown over the years and features shows and perfomances from various artists as well as exhibitors who showcase furniture. A true family outing as mommy can do her home shopping while the young ones run around enjoying all the activities.

The Nissan Easter Festival is being held at The Kyalami Equestrian Park, 1 Dahlia Road Kyalami at the moment and will end on the 6th April. A village market type of set up with plenty of food, jumping castles rides and entertainment for children. There will also be a display of all nice and fancy cars for the car enthusiast.
