Idols Top 16 is finally out!
We usually do Sunday TV recap on Mondays but today we are giving a special recap to IDOLS Top 16 of season 11.
- Amanda Antony (22) from PE, she replaced Nonhle after she pulled out of the competition. I hope her recording company is not going to kill her talent. We have seen talented people getting nowhere due to greedy companies. See her reasons copied from the Idols website below

The moment we have all been waiting for. Some of us couldn’t
wait to see some of the contestants go home. Last week I found myself wondering
if the judges sometimes regret sending the wrong people home. Like do they ever
wonder if the actually winner was on the other bus? Anyway we will have to find
out when they choose their top 16. Some of us will be disappointed at their
choices and others we will agree with. Whatever happens Lungisa better be on
the top 16.
Reema was the first contestant to see the
judges. He had a rough group round and redeemed himself on his solo
performance. And he made it through!
Shame this Tebogo guy is not cut out for the Idols show. I
think I prepared myself for his departure. He can definitely sing but he is not
fit enough for the show.
Spamandla that guy with a Joyous Celebration voice from Port
Elizabeth also did not make it TJOE! Shame he must try I Think I Can Sing Gospel.
Poor Sizwe was also sent home. He crumbled when he got to Sun City. His first
audition was the most memorable one but that wasn’t good enough.
The judges for this year decided to have 8 guys and 8 girls for
their Top 16.

- Karabo Mogane (24)from Nelspruit. Dish washing water personality kiiiiiii. Somizi nhe!
- Loyiso Gijana (16) from Uitenhage. Umkhaya kaUnathi
- Lungisa Xhamela (24) from kwaLanga sis'Mabrrrrr's Kasi *throws bra on stage*
- Mmatema Moreni (23) from Limpopo *Our very own Jennifer Hudson*
- Nina Terblanche (17) from Nelspruit *Nchooo these teenagers are so cute bandla*
- Phila Madlingozi (25) Ringo's son, Kelly Khumalos ben 10, future Grandee's ben 10....*Iam not so convinced about his talent hey*
- Rhema Varrie (21) Rhema works very hard for his family.
- Ruan Grobbelaar (24) from Somerset West
- Shenay O’Brien (25) Our drag Queen. Did you hear shim when shim said "its only US girls left kiiiiiiiiiiii"
- Siphelele Ngcobo (24) from Durban.
- Thami Shobede (27) Such a humble soul this one.
This was a very hard post to work on. It took two people to put together kiiiiiiii
